This is a free service FOR SALE 1970 Norton 750 Commando Professionally restored, engine and transmission rebuilt, matching numbers, 2300 miles on rebuilt motor. Needs a new battery and coils. Comes with a brand new Pazon Surefire electronic ignition still in the box needs to be installed. 2 sets of Amal carbs. There's a brand new set on the bike now and I have the original set which can be resleeved. Brand new solid state rectifier, Mark 3 isolastic conversion, stainless steel chainguard and bolts, everything beautifully rechromed. This bike has been completely refurbished from the ground up. It breaks my heart to sell it but it's been sitting indoors for 6 years now so it's time to sell so someone can actually ride it and enjoy it. I have all receipts including from the rebuild so you know exactly what's been done to it. 1955 AJS 550cc Model 20B
This is the limited production run “bigger bore” export version of the standard 500cc Matchless and AJS models produced to meet demands for higher performance from the North American market. I’ve owned this bike for more than 30 years and restored it about five years ago. It has not been used or ridden since the restoration. In excellent condition, starts and runs fine. Has an anti wet sumping valve installed. This is an oil tight motorcycle!
